 Neo-Soul & Smooth Jazz Indie Recording Artist Vocalist/Songwriter/Band Leader Jameelah Born in the Midwestern region of the U.S.A., comes from a family of musicians and singers and is known for her smooth but uniquely electrifying style of performing the covered songs of Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Teena Marie, Patti La Belle, Billy Holiday, Etta James, Jill Scott, Maysa, Heather Headley, Erica Badu, Sade and many of the neo-soul and smooth sounding artist of today and yesterday, while she continues to receive much recognition for her outstanding vocal and songwriting talents.She has performed nationally in many states throughout the USA; including Kansas, Colorado, Vegas, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Alabama amongst other Western, Midwestern, Southern and Eastern area of the USA.
